COVID-19 response

FLATTEN THE CURVE - STAY INSIDE, PLEASE!

Drama of Works's response to novel coronavirus

Drama of Works takes the health and well-being of this city, country and world very seriously. Like many businesses, non-profits and theaters we are adjusting our normal modes of operation...

PUPPET SCHOOL

All workshops are cancelled at this time. We may be able to have workshops online via Facebook live or other mediums, but right now we actually have no safe way to get one of us to the studio to teach them. So, we will be sharing other resources with you in the meantime.

DISTANCE LEARNING

As you may know, our Artistic Director Gretchen Van Lente, is a theater teacher and is currently teaching remotely. She has created a website to help her students as well as anyone wanting to learn from home. Check it out! A lot of puppetry resources are listed.

STREAMING SHOWS

The Henson Foundation is still producing their email list, just highlighting those companies offering streaming performances. A list is available here.

PUNCH KAMIKAZE

Just before this all happened we had sent out a call for possible PUNCH Kamikaze: War of the Worlds submissions. There is the possibility we will move this event online, but for now it is on hold. We hope to get it up and running as soon as it safe/feasible to do so...
