bio:

Crystal's plays include: Turn Four produced at Manhattan Theatre Source; Flow commissioned by the EST/Sloan Project; The Ballad of Phineas P. Gage written for Drama of Works, also commissioned by the EST/Sloan Project; Vacation presented at MCC Theatre as part of their Playlab series; In the Wild winner of Perishable Theatre's Women's Playwriting Festival; Tooth produced by the Ensemble Studio Theatre in the second festival of one-acts from Youngblood members, which was just published in the spring issue of Poems & Plays; and There Are Worse Times Than This, which will be workshopped this fall. Crystal is a member of the MCC Theatre Playwrights' Coalition, Dramatists Guild, and playwright/dramaturg in residence for Drama of Works. Several of her monologues can be found in the collection of monologues by Youngblood members, Hot Blooded. Currently, Crystal is working on the film adaptation of her play Seven Variations on the Same Lover for Weird Sisters.
