Serra Hirsch

Serra graduated with a B.F.A. in acting from Emerson College, where she was a member of the Swollen Monkey Showcase, a sketch and improvisation comedy troupe. In NYC, Serra has been in numerous theater productions, and was a puppeteer with the Wildlife Theatre of the Central Park Zoo. While completing her Masters in Educational Theater at NYU, Serra worked as an artist-in-residence at local NYC public schools with Puppetry In Practice. Last year, she co-wrote, designed and performed her first solo puppet work Spring Forward!, which has since been performed at various venues around the city. Serra free-lances as a voice-over artist and narrates recorded books for the blind, in addition to working on several new puppet pieces. past: performer The Ballad of Phineas P.
